Brainstormers! is a company of professional actor-educators, technicians and media artists. Our specialty is combining learning and laughter in equal measure, empowering young people to express their creativity both on the page and on the stage. Our core product is a series of high-energy Creative Writing shows, harnessing the fun and excitement of Improv Comedy to change kids’ attitudes about writing. Our belief is that a young person who discovers the joy of expressing their ideas using the written word will grow up to be a successful communicator in whatever field they choose. In the last 26 years, we conservatively estimate that our Takeoff and Skywriter Shows have motivated over 2.5 million kids to write their own stories.
