CSMC Student Data Services, a division of CSMC, was formed in 2009 alongside the birth of CALPADS, California’s Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System. At the time it was evident to us that because of attrition, lack of resources, lack of training, and improper setup, charter schools were deficient in implementing and managing a full-blow student information system. We invested several years in training and building a department designed around the specific needs of charter schools. Our comprehensive support program gives schools all the benefits of an effective student information system without the steep learning curve, high expense, and risk typically required to implement and manage such a system.
